If you have been touched by any of the stories on Someone Else’s Shoes then you might want to consider making a donation to the BACE charity.
You can do this easily, in a number of ways and whatever the size of your donation, it will be much appreciated. Every pound goes towards funding the charity’s work in rural Gambia. There are no paid for members of staff in the UK, only volunteers.
Text donate – Text BACE13 to 70070 followed by £1, £2, £5 or £10. You will receive a text to confirm your donation, as well as details on how to include Gift Aid.
Donate online – via the BT MyDonate site. Visit BACE Online Giving to make a donation and don’t forget to Gift Aid your donation.
Donate via standing order – If you feel you can sacrifice a bottle of wine or few bars of chocolate a month, then regular giving goes a long way to supporting BACE, as a little each month adds up over the year and makes a huge difference to their work. If you are a UK taxpayer you can help further by completing a Gift Aid form for either monthly payments or a one-off donation, enabling the charity to claim additional funds from the Gift Aid Scheme. A standing order can be downloaded from the BACE website. Once downloaded, please send to: BACE, 12 High Meadow, Northiam, East Sussex, TN31 6GA.
Cheque or cash – BACE is also happy to accept donations by cash or cheque. Cheques should be sent to BACE, 12 High Meadown, Northiam, East Sussex, TN31 6GA. Cash should be sent through registered mail to ensure safe delivery.
